BOOK LAUNCH: The story of U3A Port Phillip and its people 2003 to 2021
An important U3APP event occurred on Friday 25 March 2022. A book, “The story of U3A Port Phillip and its people 2003 to 2021” was launched at the Mary Kehoe Centre. The book tells the story of the first 18 years of our organisation. The spark which generated the founding of U3APP was an article from the Older Persons Reference Group newsletter in August 2003. “Glen Eira has one (U3A). Stonnington has one. BUT THERE IS NO U3A IN THE CITY OF PORT PHILLIP.” The book is now available to U3APP members as a full colour printed book and also as a PDF.
