Deborah Hart


Deborah Hart worked for 16 years in development with leading Australian arts and culture organisations (including MTC, Opera Australia, MSO, MIFF, Bell Shakespeare Co, Triple R), Deborah left her job at the National Gallery of Victoria in order to devote more attention to climate activism. Deborah has two young boys and is the founder of LIVE, a local climate change action group based in the City of Port Phillip, an inner bay side suburb of Melbourne. LIVE now has more than 3,000 supporters and was the driver of the 2009 St Kilda Beach human sign.

In 2010, along with Guy Abrahams, and Fiona Armstrong, Deborah co-founded CLIMARTE, an independent not for profit body that brings the arts community together to tackle climate change.
